The children’s charity Children in Scotland has joined the Scotland Loves Nature campaign, issuing this statement of support:
‘Children in Scotland hears directly from children and young people, through our work with Crown Estate Scotland and the Future Forum, about the importance of nature in children’s lives – both for their mental and physical wellbeing – through its role in improving air quality, provision of affordable spaces to exercise, and related to their interest in biodiversity and action on climate change.
‘Our vision of a Scotland that has a safe and sustainable environment for all children, young people and their families will only be possible through the protection of our natural environment. We’re pleased to support the Scotland Loves Nature campaign.’
